How many sessions until I am "fixed"?Therapy is a highly individualized process, and the number of sessions needed varies greatly from person to person. It is important to understand that therapy is not about being "fixed" but rather about making progress toward your personal goals and improving your overall well-being. Some people may find significant relief or insight in just a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy to address deeper or more complex issues. The duration of therapy depends on various factors, including the nature of your concerns, your goals, your commitment to the process, and your unique circumstances. Therapy is a journey, and your growth and healing will unfold at your own pace.

What can I expect during a therapy session?During a therapy session, you can expect a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. The session typically lasts about 50 minutes. In the first session, we'll get to know each other, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and establish your goals. I'll ask questions about your background, current situation, and any specific issues you want to address. In follow-up sessions, we'll dive deeper into your concerns. We'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to gain a better understanding of your experiences. I'll use various therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs, with your active participation and consent.
